Gratitude for these 5 Things
I'm sharing the top 5 things that have been bringing me the most gratitude the past few weeks.
Spring is emerging and I couldn't be happier! I've needed the warmth and the ease of Spring. I love this time of year—new beginnings are all around us. In this newsletter, I'm sharing the top 5 things that have been bringing me the most gratitude the past few weeks.
1.All of our kids are in school now, and I am so grateful for uninterrupted quiet time. Maximus, our youngest, started her first day of preschool a couple of weeks ago. She's been thriving, and it's wild to not have any children at home from 8-4. A big part of me felt a bit sad her first few days away, but it's been such a blessing. Maxi's learning and making friends. She gets to leave in the house in the morning with her big sisters—and me and daddy get to have alone time during the day, which feels really nice.
2.Warmer morning walks have been helping my mental health so much. Walking in the cold was trying, and I felt quite sad some days. Being able to walk in warmth and sunshine is such a blessing to my soul. I've been enjoying seeing the trees and flowers come to life. Spring is one of my favorite seasons. It reminds me that even growth and beginning again is possible.
3.I hosted a community meditation on Zoom this past Sunday. It was absolutely everything I needed. Hundreds of us gathered together and held intentional space for intentional breathing, stillness, and inner peace. Last year, I got my breathwork certificate, and I committed to giving back to the community by offering free meditation classes to folks near and far. I'm beyond grateful that people let me into their hearts and lives by way of meditation.
4.The Way Out is In podcast is life-changing. I listened to a beautiful episode about tea and being mindful and present when making it. The entire show poured into me and reminded me of my deep love for tea blends, tea making, and teaware. This podcast is by far my favorite and has been offering me a lot of comfort as I walk.
5.Letting go and finding ease has been a recurring theme for me lately. I've been thinking a lot more about what it means to release and still keep peace and gratitude at the center of my life. I'm grateful for self-inquiry and the ability to remove things that are no longer in alignment with my healing and growth. It's not ever easy, but it's always worth it.
