Happy New Year, everyone! I spent last night doing a bunch of nothing—watching the Ms. Cleo documentary with Ry and our oldest kiddo was the highlight of my day. By the time the clock struck 12 AM, I could barely muster up the strength to say HNY to them. Saying I knocked out when I got in the bed last night would be an understatement.
I feel so good today—really grounded and nourished.
We all slept in which is rare, and the littles woke up in great moods. Today on my walk (day number 469—whew!), I shared some reflections in a voice note. You can listen below. I shared in the note that my word of the year is nourished.
My 2023 intention:
I intend to feel nourished and nurtured in 2023. I will do my best to create a more peaceful and joyous life. I am focusing on relationships that are healthy, loving, and reciprocal. I am keeping promises to myself because I am worth it. I will stay close to people who want to see me do and be my best. I am showing up and claiming the joy that I deserve. I'm committed to feeling more clear, grounded, and hopeful about myself and my life.
I’d love to hear from you all: What is your word of the year?
