I am coming to you asking for help, not for me, but for a dear friend.

The Sisterhood Is Sacred crewneck was created to support one of my dear sister-friends, a woman who has shown resilience in the face of unimaginable hardship. She is navigating a divorce, freeing herself from the grip of narcissistic abuse, and reclaiming her peace after years of emotional manipulation. It is not an easy road, but she is walking it with courage—for herself and her children.

As her friend, I have done everything I can to support her and will continue to do so. But the reality is she needs more. She is a single working mother doing her best to make ends meet, and the weight of rebuilding a life from scratch is heavy. No one should have to carry that burden alone. This is where I need you, my community, to help and rally around her.

Your support can help her get temporary safe housing, transportation, food, diapers, and water. I am wearing a unisex size medium

I was hesitant to share this. All of my community work, volunteer efforts, and advocacy happen offline, in real life, and in private. Sharing something so personal here feels vulnerable and tender—but with my friend's blessing, I'm doing it.

My priority is to protect her and her children while also offering her even the smallest sliver of peace. I've never reached out to my community like this before. Asking for help can be uncomfortable for so many of us, but I also know that this community—both near and far—is incredibly generous.

You all know that community care is not just a concept for me—it's an action. When we show up for one another, we create ripples of hope and healing that reach far beyond what we can see. With your help, we can remind my sis that she is held and cared for and that no woman has to start over alone.
