As always thanks for the prompts and audio was what I needed this morning. I wrote down a few things in , but what stuck out to me while I am in my singleness time.. “How are you resting this season”? And “ It’s time to get back in motion? Most people might think it’s time to get back to dating lol , but sometimes it’s as simple as what are you doing for yourself this season while you have it to yourself!!! That’s my way of interpreting that phrase.
Reminding my self where my feet is gets me back into the now , an old therapist taught me this when I feel disoriented or disconnected or even to focused on the future that creates anxiety, I love this & and thank you for the journal Prompts I will definitely be writing tonight
This is an awesome reminder as we approach the last run of 2023. I feel there's pressure to perform or do or create SOMETHING before 2024. This reminder was so timely. "If your season feels slow - adjust your pace.." My gosh I love this so much. Are the journal prompts for each day of November? If so I will get started for today
Awake to the now. Sufficient unto the day is the evil there of, be here now. Be mindful, be present, we hear these all the time but do we really find time to practice? Thanks for this reminder ❤️
Some truly beautiful and insightful questions, thank you Alex 🤍
I am deeply feeling this invitation to adjust my pace, slow things and just be, with myself. This isn’t an easy task as the present feels so uncomfortable right now. I want it to be over. I can already feel myself being pulled forward into the hopes of spring and what I wish to see bloom in my life.
But I cannot get there… without first being here, tending to my inner soil and planting those seeds.
Thank you for the reminder and giving me those tools to tend 🌱
This morning I listened to wind chimes while I watered my trees and veggies. I sent them love and talked to each one and told them what I would do for them. This one needs a little snack, that one needs some weeds pulled, the coffee beans need to be picked. The tomatoes that are landing on the ground and need that rock I took from by the water one day underneath them to support them. Atop the rock I made a little nest of purslane for a cushion. Then the sun came up and warmed us all. It was beautiful. My mantra for a couple of days ago was "I release myself from other peoples stress". And yesterday I was driving around with a pink bubble of love around me. Today I am just grateful and I have some real work to do for hours. So, I will be taking plenty of sunshine breaks. I love your stack!
This is so appreciated and needed. A systematic way to bring oneself back into being grounded in the here and now. I spent so much time in the last 2 days thinking about someone else’s problem that I could do nothing about that I was unable to attend my planned event today, Thanksgiving Day with my loved ones. I really haven’t missed many Thanksgivings in my life. This promised to be a fun one, too. Staying home and reading your Substack is a bonus tho! 😁
Thank you for sharing Now. I truly believe we need to hug Now. Enjoy this Now. I get what you are saying and I thank you Now. Hope everybody reads your post/posts.
Hello Cezanne! 👋 Nice to find you here. 😀 I’m taking the month of December off for retreat. I believe in slowing way down in the dark time of the year and taking a walk on the inside

Every time I tune in to the present, all returns to balance.

Alex, Thank you for the list. I appreciate it. D
Came here to see the good feets and got so much more. Thank you.
“Be where your feet are” has been in my head since you said it! I’m actively focusing on doing just that
