I am struggling hard emotionally and mentally right now, so I've decided this is going to be my lifeline. I think being in community to share will keep me on track and I'm really excited to get started!
Excited to find joys this month! Much needed focus for my anxious mind. Thank you for sharing your friend’s update. How wonderful for her and her children!!
I’m excited to take part! I literally setup a gratitude journal in my Goodnotes planner yesterday. I decided March is going to hold more intention to establish the habit. Can’t wait!!
I added my joy moments to my planner as well, but on the day sheets. Plan to continue and few other things, as March is a hard month for me to get through grief wise.
I'm glad you said that was an art bag, I was about to ask what kind of bag was that!?
Ps. I love the update on your friend and her family!
A bright pink flowing fabric ,adorned with golden zari wrapped around my body so gently- the drape that is the Saree. I imagined the draping part and how it makes me feel but was delighted to find it.
I keep my list in my iPhone and call my notes “good things today”. My Substack place is also about noticing the joyful moments in every day, but I share poetry and examples of how I come across it (I’m just getting going). I love your coordinating sharing everyone’s noticings here. 😊
Life has felt loud lately, and I’ve been missing the quiet beauty hiding in the corners. Thank you for this invitation to slow down, notice, and receive joy in small, sacred ways. I’m in for the challenge—and I’ll be jotting daily. Grateful for your words, your heart, and this community. 💛
Today my four year old spotted a book on meerkats just as were were about to leave the library (he's recently been very into this non-cat animal). We went back and checked it out and he was so overjoyed! He even replayed the moment as we walked out. "We almost left but then I saw the meerkat book!" Love to see joy through my kid's eyes. Thank for for this idea - I love the idea of joy jotting! Maybe I should even do it FOR my non-writing kids and then reflect on all their joy at the end of each week or month. :)

My joy moment from yesterday… my friends had our semi late Galentine’s and it was beautiful and I had so much fun.
Day 1: reclaimed two hours with my husband. 🥰
Day 2: two different emails inviting me to find joy every day in March
Are we sharing here or somewhere else? ✌🏽
You can share here! Or in the chat.
Ordered one for myself and one for my wife. Glad to help. And happy your friend picked herself.
Beautiful idea for a practice! Thank you!
Where do we share our joy spotting? Thread? Chat? Thx
